Hi,
Oops, I just re-read your post. The terminal you are refering to was
connected to a HP2000-c With the break key disabled.
We pulled the keycap off and removed the washer,
trying to get into the into the system but it didn't work.
I think it was an televideo terminal. Regardless,
Wumpus would be a great beginner programming project.

Anyone remember cutting HS classes to go to the educational computer
expo at the Portland Hilton hotel? ( for 3 years in a row ) And stealing
passwords from the math teachers at the bank of asr33's who
didn't notice. You would have needed a neon sign and a sledge hammer,
since their attention was focused on finding the next letter to
press on the KB.
