Halon dumps: a data point
I personally attribute Pentiums as Creating life as I know it. Without
the advent of cheap computers, I wouldn't be able to own a VAX 11/750.
Of course, the VAX puts out way more heat for less work, so I'm doing
more to hasten the heat death of the universe than a room full of
Pentiums.
