Got my PDP-11/34! Now what?

All right. Here's what's happening:

I connected the terminal to the console port.
I turned on the terminal.
I turned on the computer.
The display shows all 0s.
The RUN light is on, and will not go off.
When I press CTRL-HALT, the BUS ERROR light comes on.
When I press CTRL-BOOT, nothing happens.

I checked the settings on the M9312.
Any ideas?
