How silly of me, it's a series of ethernet and tokenring board made by Compaq,
available both for ISA, EISA, PCI and integrated on a lot of mobos.

This one is hakf-length, albeit very wide.

As for the NE3200, I found that Intel hade made an EtherExpress based on the
same design, so you're correct about the full-length boards. =)
