I think this case is much more serious. It sounds like the circuits in his
brain have been scrambled by LSD.

Of course the real answer is that it can be done for $ 0.01 if you are willing
to trade dollars for equipment and time of problem solving. And you might
have the problem better defined. How many inputs are there to the LED
and sounder?
