Well, with a little work any binaries that aren't y2k compliant
can usually be upgraded with a little work.
/bin/date was one with a problem in SunOS... fixed in 4.1.4's
y2k patches -- but it can be replaced with the one from any *BSD
or GNU usually.
troff had problems with the macros for the date.
The fixes from the SunOS or GNU ones would probably fix the Ultrix ones as
well.
etc...
The big fun happens in 2038.
I hope to retire well before that one hits. That'll render our
current antiques like my sparc2's pretty useless.
