If you start up without a boot disk, it should prompt you with:
MEMORY SIZE?
answer with a suitable figure - say 32767 - and it should start in
BASIC.
You can get TRS-DOS and LDOS (much better!) disk images from various web
sites - try www.kjal.com/trs80/
Getting the images onto TRS-80 disks requires a PC capable of single
density 40 track disks though...
