Well, you just stumbled across what's probably the most confusing part of
VMS! Namely trying to figure out which license PAKs activate which
networking bits :^)

Dunno, I came to VMS from a strong UNIX background, and now I prefer VMS
for the most part. It just clicked for me I guess. OTOH, maybe it's just
my love of books getting the best of me :^) You can't beat the OpenVMS
docset!

What kind of problems are you having with VMS? Outside of comp.os.vms this
is probably the best place to ask VMS related questions.
