Tape drives (which one to look for?)

Some DDS-1 drives can do straight 2gb, others ahve hardware compression to
4. I had 2 WangDAT 3100's that only did 2, swapped them out for 2 3200's
that can do either 2 or 4. Nice drives, about $10-24 each dependant on
condition or seller and tapes are relatively cheap, even new ones. I prefer
the HP branded tapes myself, plenty of luck with them so far.
