Covering the hole lets you turn a good quality 750 Oerstedt 1.4M diskette
into a usable, but POOR quality, 720K diskette (which SHOULD be about 600
Oerstedt).
The difference in coercivity is close enough that you can "GET AWAY WITH
IT" (unlike the 300 v 600 difference between 360K and 1.2M).
If your data matters to you, try to find some of the right ones.
