A couple of plugs on easy installing Linux.
Mandrake
Caldera EDesktop 2.4
Corel v2
and of course the plug for FreeBSD 4.2.
If you want a commercially supported version all of the above and
Red Hat do sell support directly.
Solaris is available for x86 for about $100 (support extra) and works ok
-- but the hardware supported is MINIMAL.
I just put Mandrake up here after struggling with WinNT for two days.
Works fine.
They've even got a MandrakeUpdate utility like the Microsoft Windows
Update utility.
I still prefer FreeBSD/NetBSD/OpenBSD for server use.
