I'm not sure about that, but it sounds like a derivative story of when
Charlie Lasner did that on one of his old scope-equipped computers. He
had the listings entered as evidence of when the program was written, then
the court adjourned to his place in Queens to show that it was a real
program and not just theoretical.
The patents were overturned.
