OT: Old radio gear available...cheap?

The best bet is to have her get the information off the datatags. In the
realm of military electronics collectibles, this means *everything*. The
Navy stuff will generally have a rather verbose tags, and the Signal
Corps (Army) tags will have less.

I have many directories and could look up the stuff.

Incidently, if the Altec stuff is tubed, it is probably worth a fairly
good amount of money. The "tube type modules" may be input transformers,
and if they are good, they are _definitely_ not junk.
