I've never taken them apart to check it out, but how
different are the RAM cards between the IIc and the Laser 128? I've
got a couple of 1meg RAM expansion boards for the Laser 128, none of
them have any of the RAM chips installed. I also have what appears
to be a proto or knockoff of the same board, fully populated. The
layout is the same but instead of being on the standard green PCB,
it's on a silver metallic one and all the chips are socketed vice
just the RAM chips on the factory boards. It also doesn't have any
markings on the board at all.
