I have the 1/83 issues sitting right behind me as I type...it has a great ad on the back cover with Isaac Asimov hawking the TRS-80 Model III - "Radio Shack's TRS-80 Computer is the smartest way to Write."
Part 3 of the series is here, and it's the last part. The next project was a single-line LCD display.
Let me know if you'd like a copy of the article, it would be 17 pages including the schematics, or more if I included the full-page ads in between editorial content.
