Here's some more information to go on. Mine's incomplete, but maybe it'll
help you search.

HP J2220B#002
EISA PSI interface

EISA dual port PSI

(PSI = programmable serial interface - protocol depends on software)
Supported in all PA-RISC machins with EISA slots. Supported OS revs appear
to be 10.10-11.0/32

Apparently there were also versions of the PSI for HP-PB.
