I've had the pleasure of visiting numerous sites throughout
Italy, Turkey and Greece and each time I visited a theatre, coloseum
or city, I was in total awe. I was utterly amazed walking down the
streets of the ruins of Perge in southern Turkey, a city whose
beginnings date back over 2000 years, looking at the engineering
marvels such as the water supply for the Roman baths and the
beautiful architecture. Given the tools that they had at the time,
those ruins are much more interesting than most things built today.
