A 3400 could function as a nightstand with no loss of functionality (in
fact, it could be an especially functional white noise generator...)

My 5400 / BA215 functioned well as an aquarium stand for some gerbils and
Ultrix runs to this day. I think I have a photo of it in this role
somewhere...
