I was convinced after seeing the "Last Star Demo" a few years back (1998?)
that the Star interface was still years ahead of both Apple and MS. I
wish I can remember fine details (I can only remember one in particular,
where a person was able to create a mathematical formula the way it would
be written on paper, with a real square root symbol, a division with the
dividend over the divisor separated by a horizontal line, etc. and all
this in the middle of a text document) but it's been a while.
Just trust me when I say that Apple and MS still have plenty of catching
up to do to even equal the Star.
