New HD disks not working in 1541?
That's right. HD disks don't work in 1541.
If you want disks that will work right in 1541, you need "DOUBLE
DENSITY" (300 Oerstedt) disks, NOT "HIGH DENSITY" (600 Oerstedt)
Magnetic coercivity is analogous to photographic film sensitivity. Using
the wrong sensitivity won't work right, even if somebody tells you that
one is "better" than another one.
