HP have been cooperating with Intel for years. PA-RISC is a dead end,
unfortunately. So is Alpha. HP and Compaq are suddenly friends.
Now, if HP3000 (and presumably MPE) is dead, I wouldn't be surprised to see a
similar statement about VMS very soon.
BTW, isn't it strange that the new ComHPaq aren't putting VMS forth as a
migration alternative?
