The first box is obviously the GEM that shipped with the Amstrad PC line. 
This was the post Apple suit, trash-bin-less version.
 The second batch is the last released version of Gem and I believe included 
with CCPs Artline package. CCP is still alive

and offers Artline versions for free download. DAK was an electronics 
marketer went broke in 94 and is now resurected as DAK 2000.
