There is no shortage of real PDP-11's around here, the biggest problem I
have with them is a lack of air conditioning, and the cost of electricity.
I've been using my /73 enough this month that I'm scared to see what the
electric bill is going to be (thanks to the idiots in California, our rates
up here are sky high).

As for PDP-10's, I'm happy emulating them, though I wouldn't say no to a
TOAD-1 :^) What can I say, I don't like big old disk drives.

Something certain people on this list need to consider is that a properly
constructed PC with a decent OS (of which there are many) is rock solid.
The only reason the system I'm running the emulators on has had any
downtime is for some power problems a month or so ago (since I don't have
an UPS, my G4/450 PowerMac and Alpha's went down as well). If I move the
emulators to better hardware it will probably be to a dual processor Xeon
system I'm putting together. I just wish I'd had a spot to put the quad
Xeon I passed on yesterday!
