I didn't mean to suggest that you didn't know. I was thinking
of the many folks here who have never run across it.

I don't think they did. I remember when the card came out. I
have no memory of any application software coming with it. There
might or might not have been a driver; I don't recall. You might
have had to code to the card, at least at first. ISTR it was
provided more as a curiosity, since the platform physically
supported it, than as filling customer needs, thus the lack of
software support.
