I think that there is some confusion on this part.
First : Mostek wasn't in the TTL business, perse
Second: I'm pretty sure that the part referenced below was a 7449, a
cousin of the 7448.
Thirdly : 7429 is most probably a date code.

I believe that it's a BCD to 7 segment (LED) decoder with open collector
outputs. Not sure of the pinout, though.
