As someone who'd been involved buying three uVAXen in the 1985 to 1987 time
frame I'd have to agree. As I was working in an all DEC shop I didn't look
to see what else was available but does anyone have ideas on what other
multi-user timesharing systems were available in that time frame at about
the same price (let's say $50K to $100K)?
