Jerome Fine replies:
Then you don't - it is your choice - I actually probably could filter, but I
don't. In any case, if there are so few messages from off the list, then
a simple clear 4 characters "[OT]" at the start to clearly identify the
message is trivial.

Well, then live elsewhere! If I used the same language you use, I would
as well. Besides, I did not say that would be the final solution - just something
that could probably be done once, easily, and it then makes it easy to tell
the difference.

While I really don't care what is done, I think you owe an apology to Jay.
(a) Jay is performing a service and not being paid for it. Even if you
are willing, right now it is Jay who is doing it. So put a lid on it
(b) Jay can have all the time he pleases and respond when it is convenient
for him to do so.
(c) I seem to remember that certain individuals were responsible for a great
many messages that most other individuals on the list did not appreciate. If
you don't like the way the list is run, please leave.
I don't wish to have any more discussion on this topic since I see that it
is getting out of hand. I will let Jay decide.
If you want to comment on anything here, send if off the list!
Sincerely yours,
Jerome Fine
