There you go... the ST-251 requires no jumpers or funny stuff (except
for getting the drive select jumpers correct). The ROM formatter in
a VS2000 will format the drive suitably for an RQDX3.

Thanks. I need to go get a copy... I've mostly been formatting disks
in a BA-23 with a uVAX-II processor - takes forever to boot the TK50.
I'd love to be able to bring up a floppy-based formatter under any
processor. I have several quad-height KDF11 boards (just add RAM
and a disk controller) and one quad-height KDJ11 board formerly in
a communication board, now with new ROMs. All I have to do is drill
off the new-style handle and put an old one on so it fits in the boxes
I have (my newest Qbus box is a BA-123; got no BA-213s and the like)

Well... SM-PSUs are magic to me, too. Good luck on the PSU repair...
