The BA23 can be "VERY CAREFULLY USED" for the RLV11
IF THE CPU IS PLACED IN THE FIRST SLOT AND THE RLV11
(pair of boards) IS PLACED IN THE SECOND AND THIRD SLOTS

I have actually seen this done, but I am not really absolutely sure. However,
it certainly seems reasonable. For example, a PDP-11/53 CPU which includes
memory, etc. would have the second and third slots available to do just this
and be totally proper in this aspect.

CAREFUL!!! PLACING AN RLV11 IN SLOTS FOUR AND BEYOND
CAUSES THE MAGIC SMOKE TO DISAPPEAR!

As explained many times before, the only physical difference is that
the TK50 is a CompacTape with a brown label and the TK70 is
a CompacTape II with a blue label. Using a blank tape in a TK50
drive places information on the tape which the TK70 drive can
recognize - the result is to immediately place the drive in WRITE
PROTECT mode. If you can find a tape eraser (degauser), then
every TK50 media I have every done that to can be used in a TK70.

In a couple of years, I will start to toss my stuff as I gradually shift
to using a CD for backup. Keep me in mind - but my e-mail address
will start to change in a few months to get rid of spam. I will probably
try and see if adding 4 random characters to my name in front of the
"_at_" will do the trick with a default being the current 4 digit year
when the address suddenly changes. If the default stays spam free, then
that should do the trick - especially since it will change each year.

Can anyone think of a better default that is easily described but
can't be figured out by a program? Also, it needs to automatically
change about once a year as well.
