I couldn't limit it, so I reorganized it.

I have most of my collection in my basement, after I
ran out of room I gained half of it back by
reorganizing what I had. For "show" items, items that
I had in shelves I bought wire shelves and spaced them
exactly the height of typcial computers (S100's types
mostly). I was able to shelved twice as much this way
(the previous shelves I had were about 16 inches
apart, now they are 8 inches). So customized the
height of your shelfs to fit what you have, wire
shelves from Home depot work good.

For my stacked boxed stuff, I decided to throw all my
various shape cardboard boxes and buy a bunch of new
same-sized boxes, these stored much more densely then
all the random shaped boxes I had. I bought boxes that
exactly fit magazines, that exactly fit the typical
S100 boxes, that exactly fit single board computers
(more or less, basically small pizza sized boxes).

Anyway, I gained 50% more spaced and my collection
looks very neat, didn't get rid of anything which is
what most of us really want.
