Rumor has it that Lawrence LeMay may have mentioned these words:

[snippage]

>For personal use, and if the sites go away someday, then it may be
>possible to make the data available again. Though primarily for my
>own use. Consider that when i'm in my office at work I have a very
>old dual T3 internet feed (i wonder when they will upgrade that ;)
>but when i'm at home i'm a cheapskate with a 56K modem. Having the
>information burned to CDroms for home use is much preferred.

"old" -- "dual T3" -- Wanting upgrade???? Daaammmmnnnnn...
Where do you work??? <drooling>

I *own* an ISP, and I thought I was "smokin'" with dual T1's!

And for now, I have only modem access to the 'net as well, but when I move
into my new house, I'll have access to wireless ethernet - should average
me about 600kbit/sec up & down... :-) Sometimes more, sometimes not, but
it's always decently fast & it's not like satellite tech. - the latency is
*very* low.

Someday, when I have more time to tinker with VMS, I'll have one on the net
with logons for people to play with... (hell, had to bring it on topic
somehow...)

Recycling is good, right??? Ok, so I'll recycle an old .sig.
If at first you don't succeed, nuclear warhead
disarmament should *not* be your first career choice.
