Again, without meaning to fart in anyone's oxygen supply, I don't see how
creating an "alternate internet" over UUCP is going to help you. As you
will quickly realize once you advance one or two steps in the logical
outcome of this, you find that there's not much use of a closed internet
with maybe several hundred participants.
Setting up a UUCP network because it's fun and neat and a worthwhile
learning endeavor: cool.
Setting up a UUCP network because you hate spam and want to create an
alternate internet community: futile.
Time willing, I'll be a node.
