Jerome Fine replies:

When you say you have a drive, do you meant the TZ30. This
is a 5 1/4" half-height drive that also uses the same media as
the TK50, but has a standard 50 pin SCSI interface. Since
I have seem them used only on a DEC PDP-11 or VAX,
you might initially try to use the E11 emulator with either
RSX-11 or RT-11 to read these tapes before you write
software device drivers for the PC - unless someone has
already done so?

As for an external SCSI TK50, I think they are called a
TK50-GA, but if I am wrong on any of the letters, please
correct me.

Sincerely yours,

Jerome Fine
