The pics at this site are of the Alameda County
Computer Recycling Center. Unfortunately almost all
the pics on the site are extremely stale and I haven't
found it a good source of classic computing items.
However the group does really good work recycling
'obsolete' technology (almost exclusively PCs,
although other interesting items appear in the
floatsam occasionally) into schools and low income
areas. I've volunteered there and they have an
impressive operation. The last Saturday I attended I
probably moved over 1000 TVs being recycled.
They also do good work in helping Sam Ismail store his
collection.
