We lost a parallel port dongle after an enthusiastic but careless PC
tech plugged it into a SCSI port. The dongled app displayed graphical
monitoring of our satellite comms station power generation and
consumption (wind and solar and diesel generation, battery voltage level
and current drain). Seeing as we were 10000 miles from the U.S. and
winter was approaching, it was important to secure a replacement!

I hate the fact that Apple chose the DB25F for the SCSI port on
the Mac Plus. I'm not sure if they were the first, but they were
the ones to make it popular.
