festivals, flea markets, and surplus dealers

Jon,

   I've had GREAT luck at the hamfests. My advice is to find a ham in your
area that goes to most of the hamfests and tag along with him. He can also
keep you posted on all the upcoming hamfests. It's also worth registering
as a dealer so that you can get in early. MOST of the buying and selling
occurs before the door ever opens to the public. I have a neighbor that's
a ham and he goes to most of the nearby hamfests to sellstuff. I go along
with him, get it early and then as he emptys his truck by selling stuff I
refill it with my purchases! It works out great!
