I had the same problem with a local Staples - got the store number from my
reciept - got a $10 gift certificate and an apology from HQ by mail a week
after my emailed complaint.

Had a problem of DHL screwing up shipping on an online order, that I paid
extra $$ to get it here quick, they refunded all the shipping and sent me 2
$10 gift certificates and an apoloogy from HQ by mail after I called to make
a verbal complaint and inquiry of the delay/loss.

It helps to mention that you're taking your business in the future to
Officemax, Office Depot or Quill....

=> You can HAVE the ones around here!

=> They suck so much that I'd rather go to FRY'S!
