Amish are German, not Dutch. There's Amish and Mennonites in
many states, including here in southern Wisconsin. They're
allowed to live where they like as far as I know. As for
technology, they will use modern milking equipment, sometimes
powered in alternative ways. Some families attend the local
antique tractor shows. They'll go to a modern doctor
