9track drive woes

Well, I figured out that problem (mount mua0: /foreign /blocksize=10240),
but after cleaning the drive, just about every tape I try give me a parity
error within 50k or so of the beginning of the tape. Is there a
recommended way to clean the tape drive? I just stuck some alcohol on a
cotton swap and brushed that along the drive head a few times...
