Sounds like a tamper-proof torx screw, likely a T15 or T10.
Radio Shack's online store sells a set of bits that contains the bit
you'll need (yes, I know we were all just complaining about RS).

MCM Electronics, Jensen Tools, and a few other companies also sell the
same set, but as strange as it is, Radio Shack seems to have the best
