Tektronix 422

They're not so bad, methinks. Those tube-type 'scopes were discontinued over
25 years ago. I often find I can't get parts for stuff I bought new less than
5 years ago. I know for sure that the tube-scopes were no longer supported in
'79 because that was the basis for my decision to buy a nea-new TEK 465 for
considerably more than I originally wanted to spend.

The example regarding replacement parts that I have to remember is the car I
bought new in '77, for which the US mfg couldn't find a replacement engine
when , 6 months or so after I bought it, brand new and built to order, the
engine blew.

I haven't bought a U.S. made car since, nor has anyone else in my family.

Dick
