Then the person should turn on there lights manually, if it's snowing.
DRL's aren't the same as turning your lights on, at least not in the
US. I think the European DRL's are different, maybe the Canadian
version is different as well.

Another stupid part of the things, and this might be model or brand
specific, is that the DRL's turn on as soon as I turn the key, then shut
off when the starter motor engages, the then turn back on once the
starter motor is done.

Another stupid part about them is that I blind the person in front of me
in the Taco Bell line. I have to drag my emergency brake slightly in
order to avoid blinding the person in front of me!! I actually had a
lady tell the drive through person to thank me for shutting them off
after blinding her for while.
