Almost. On cameras before "hotshoe" in the 50s and 60s (and some before
and after), the connector for flash synchronization on the camera was a
tiny coaxial connector. It was called a "PC connector". (therefore off
topic because it's a PeeCee?) But the other end, where it connected to
to the flash itself, the connector was often one that was close enough to
the ungrounded US mains connector that household extension cords could be
used for increasing the distance between the camera and flash. That was
presumably discontinued because a clueless moron could then use the flash
cord to connect the camera to 110 VAC.

'course the Honeywell in question is presumably a grounded connector.
