        They're going to be saved as AIFF format files and burned to
CD-ROM and/or turned into MP3's. I'm not an audiophile but an MP3
that starts with a good source usually sounds pretty good to me.
There's an excellent program on the Mac called 'The Analogue Ripper'
that is made for just this type of operation and it allows you to
choose your encoder as well as provides a lot of flexibility when
dealing with the incoming sound source.
