Minor addition to Sellam's excellent Howto:
Whenever tube type equipment is being shipped (maybe modules from an IBM
709), _never_ pack the goods tight in the box. Always have a little slop
in an oversize box, so when the box is dropped, the filaments in the tubes
do not shatter. For heavy items, remove the tubes and pack them in their
own "daughter" box.
