Packing suggestions (was Re: PDP11 Redux, or Behind-The-Scenes Bull)

I have had two 21" NeXT monitors shipped from CA to TX in the past few
months. Both were packed professionally by "foam-in-place" method.
Monitor cost was $65.00 each, packing and shipping, $75.00 each. They
are pretty heavy. But both arrived by UPS in one piece. We have a
pretty good driver on my route. What amazes me is, they leave things
insured for 1-2000 dollars on my porch. No signature required.
