> 1. IBM Thinkpad 755c for $12.51
Good deal!! You can buy parts from IBM for it. Find your local
service (not reseller) authorized place and if they're friendly
enough, you can order parts though them. Even the screws, I got
packets of screws enough to do few thinkpad notebooks for $25, top
shell ($140) through that way when I repaired my 701C 2 years ago.
First, find copy of HMM for your model on 'net and use that p/n
numbers from it.

Way too much, should had been given away! These days, 486 era are
throw-away, and early pentiums just got this status and I just got
home after picking out the parts from two, few weeks before, three
pcs picked it's parts.

Okay not too bad.

Nice. I had VT420, it can do 72Hz refresh and sharp amber, nice on
eyes.
> 8. hp Laserjet IIIp for $1
That's golden! At work we're still using IIP daily, parts still can
be had through third-party printer parts on 'net. Plug a postscript
cartidge in and you got a nice one for linux, BSD etc.
The newer consumer to low "mid" end HP laser printers aren't that
durable now except for upper mid to high end types. Only good left
of HP worth buying new are HP inkjets, their PCs. HP's machines are
basically stock ATX and miniATX machines so third-party parts can be
used for upgrades and if something breaks. Just purge the
performance-dragging programs that made them more friendly for
six-pack users (yes right!!) HP put on. This will speed up that PC.
Cheers,
Wizard
