Multiple floppies in one system?

Keep in mind what software you are going to use with it!

IFF you are running MS-DOS and only accessing MS-DOS disks through the
operating system, then device drivers will work, and you can run up to 26
drives.

But if you are doing disk format conversion, then you will NOT be
accessing the drives through MS-DOS. The software that accesses the
drives with the alien disks will be accessing the drives through the BIOS,
or below the BIOS. DOS device drivers won't help a bit.

Uniform will work with the Compaticard (better - it's THEIR card!), and
even with a secondary card.
Early versions did some operations below the BIOS level; later versions
won't go below BIOS, and therefore have trouble with some formats, such as
Kaypro DS.

XenoCopy will access through the BIOS, with up to four floppies,
regardless of whether MS-DOS can see or use those floppies, or what
letters MS-DOS might choose to assign to them.

Are you going to write your own software for it, or will you be using
off-the-shelf stuff?
