NEC applications processor

Even though I'm a little unhappy with NEC lately, in the past I have
called them up for help in identifying equipment they made, and they were
always able to help. You might have to find out what division of NEC made
the units to know who to contact at NEC though.

Could you give a few more details on what type of chips you saw in them?
CPU? memory?
