As a seller to both Dave and Chad, they don't buy from sellers that are
unfair and misrepresentative of their product, but they don't think they'll
get everything for $1 either.

What are you talking about? Dave buys stuff on Ebay all the time. His
objections are usually when things are misrepresented such as the case
with at least one Sun reseller, or something is way over priced, like
bare bone Crays in unknown condition, without an OS.
